The Linda variety produces a fruit that is pear shaped like that of the Hawaiian Solo Sunrise. The fruit is slightly larger on average than the Hawaiian Solo Sunrise and there are approximately 80 fruits on the tree at the time harvest begins. The fruit is very sweet at 13°.brix and the flesh is salmon pink in color. The fruit sets high on the tree as with the Hawaiian Solo varieties. Production on average is about 90 tons per hectare and the trees typically flower 45 to 50 days after transplant into the field. This variety had a gender of 66% hermaphrodite and 33% female.
